Direct Line also discovered that of the landlords not using a letting agent, 58% rely on tenancy agreements that are unlikely to provide the legal cover they need. Many have adapted outdated contracts and a growing number are placing their blind faith in tenancy agreements they have downloaded for free on the internet.
This is worrying
