Property News: January sales

“Don’t miss out!” say Cubitt & West

It is widely believed that the property market goes into hibernation over the festive season. But according to leading local estate agents Cubitt & West, nothing could be further from the truth.

“Many people assume that the property market basically goes to sleep until the middle of January – but they couldn’t be more wrong,” says Jon Lock, Cubitts’ Senior Operations Director.

He quotes figures from Rightmove which show that between Christmas Day last year and Monday 6 January the site recorded a massive 280% increase in the number of visits. “The holiday period is one of the busiest times of the year,” Jon adds. “If you’re keen to sell, that’s not something you can afford to ignore! Instruct us to sell your home before 13 December,” Jon explains, “and we will put everything in place, including an Energy Performance Certificate and our famous professional-quality photographs, to ensure that your home is perfectly placed to attract maximum interest.”

And as a further incentive, no upfront charge will be made for the EPC, or any of the other online marketing options that Cubitts offer, such as floorplans and Rightmove Premium Listings.

If you really want to sell in the New Year, don’t miss out. Contact your nearest Cubitt & West office right now – and while other would-be sellers are still eating cold mince pies, your home will be right up there in lights!
